Deepshikha Nagpal Regrets Rejecting These Salman Khan And Shah Rukh Khan Films

Deepshikha Nagpal is one of the talented actresses of Indian cinema. She has received adulation for her acting in the films Baadshah and Koyla. Deepshikha recently dominated the headlines for one of her interviews with the popular host Siddharth Kannan. She revealed that she had rejected films opposite renowned actors like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Deepshikha said that she refused to act in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer film Karan Arjun and Salman Khan’s Jaanam Samjha Karo. Deepshikha added that she did not have a godfather in the film industry and hence, she made many impulsive decisions during the 1990s. These decisions probably hampered her career. Deepshikha also revealed she regrets not reaching out to these superstars for help regarding movies, when she needed one.

Deepshikha has mostly played negative roles in her acting career. The serials in which she played the negative characters are Son Pari, Shararat and Main Bhi Ardhangini. In an interview with News 18, Deepshikha remembered how she felt about being cast for only playing the roles with grey shades. The actress said that she was so bad that the makers cast her for only playing the negative roles. She, however, now feels that negative characters add spice to the show. According to Deepshikha, the audience is tired of watching sobbing characters in the show. She said that the viewers want to see some action happening. Deepshikha said that this is also the reason that more actors have started doing negative roles. She said that as an actor, it is fun doing the negative roles. According to her, the audience also waits for the negative roles.

Deepshikha will next act in the film Bombay directed by Sanjay Niranjan. This film will be released at the cinemas on February 23. Gavie Chahal, Ganesh Pai, Danish Bhatt, and others have acted in this film. Sanam Productions India has produced Bombay. She will play the role of Rekha in this film. Deepshikha last acted in the web series Kaun? Who Did it? The show garnered mixed reviews from the audience. Some criticised the show for poor storytelling while others appreciated the makers for curating a compelling storyline for the show.
