The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced recruitment for various posts, bringing good news for aspirants seeking government jobs. The recruitment drive encompasses Level-10, Level-12 and Graduation Level positions. The application process for Selection Post Phase 12 commenced on February 1 and will conclude on February 28. Aspirants can submit online applications through the official SSC website.

In the preceding Selection Post Phase 11, a total of 5369 vacancies were filled across ministries, departments and organisations of the Central Government. A similar number of vacancies are anticipated in Selection Post Phase 12. The tentative dates for the computer-based exam are scheduled from May 6th to 8th, 2024, subject to change.

The exam pattern entails a multi-stage process, starting with a written examination followed by document verification, a skill test and concluding with a final medical examination for successful candidates.

Eligibility criteria for application include Indian citizenship, with candidates having passed 10th, 12th, or graduation. The age limit is set between 18 and 30 years, with relaxation available for reserved category candidates.

The educational qualifications for Selection Post Phase 12 vary based on the level of the position:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised university or institution in India.
  2. 10+2 or Intermediate Exam passed from a recognised Indian board.
  3. Class 10th or high school pass from a recognised Indian board.

SSC Selection Post-Phase 12 Notification outlines the following nationality criteria:

  1. Candidates must be citizens of India.
  2.  Applicants for SSC Selection Post Ladakh must be residents of Ladakh.
  3. Subjects of Nepal.
  4. Subjects of Bhutan.
  5. Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, for permanent settlement.
  6. Indian-origin individuals migrating from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, or Malawi before January 1, 1962, for permanent settlement in India.
