Shrenu Parikh, the famous television actress who is popular for her role in the television series Ishqbaaz, is currently on cloud nine as she is all set to exchange vows with her long-time beau, Akshay Mhatre. As the couple is all set to enter marital bliss soon in Shrenu’s hometown, Vadodara on December 21, 2023, they dropped a few snapshots of their pre-wedding festivities on their respective social media handles. The Internet stumbled upon an adorable clip from their Haldi ceremony, which has intrigued the users, and rightly so!
Following the beautiful mehendi ceremony, Shrenu and Akshay dropped pictures and videos from their dreamy Haldi ceremony. One of the pictures that caught the most attention of the users, displayed the soon-to-be married couple making a unique entry on a yellow scooter at the venue. While Shrenu took charge of riding the scooter, Akshay was happily sitting behind her. Brimming with joy while arriving for the ceremony, the couple looked all enthusiastic about painting themselves in the colors of love and companionship.
Dressed in their color-coordinates for the celebrations, the couple exuded style and elegance and looked joyous. While the actress turned into a Marathi Mulgi wearing a green saree in the traditional Maharashtrian style, Akshay looked handsome in a simple matching kurta-pajama set. The actress’ saree, adorned with a gold border and pallu, redefined the Haldi ceremony fashion statement due to its Maharashtrian touch.
Shrenu’s wedding festivities began on December 19 with the traditional mehendi ceremony. The actress had even shared an array of snaps flaunting her mehendi-clad hands. For the ceremony, she opted for a green-hued tie-dyed lehenga with butis all over it. She paired her lehenga with a matching stone-embellished tulle blouse featuring a plunging neckline.
Shrenu made her debut in 2010 with the serial, Zindagi Ka Har Rang…Gulaal. She went on to play pivotal roles including Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon- Ek Baar Phir, Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampann, Ishqbaaaz, and Ghar Ek Mandir, among others. Shrenu and Akshay fell in love with each other during the shooting of the show Ghar Ek Mandir – Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki, in August 2021.
