During the celebrations, the Andhra Minister also broke into dance with a group of tribal women and youngsters to the tunes of some popular Tollywood numbers.

Water Resources Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Ambati Rambabu, known for his lively dance moves, has once again taken the spotlight during Bhogi celebrations in his home constituency of Sattenapalli in Palnadu district. Despite facing criticism, including mockery in Pawan Kalyan’s film ‘Bro,’ the minister enthusiastically danced with Lambadas, participating in the traditional Steppes dance form marking the beginning of the three-day Sankranti festival.

Sporting a T-shirt, the 65-year-old politician joined tribal women and youngsters, showcasing vibrant and rhythmic dance moves to popular Tollywood tunes. The video of his dance went viral, earning praise from the local audience and online viewers. Undeterred by social media trolling, Minister Rambabu mentioned a special song, ‘Sambarala Rambabu,’ created to mock him, stating, “Festivities are celebrations, and I celebrate with the public. What is wrong with it?"

Taking a political stance, Rambabu criticised the political alliance between Telugu Desam Party supremo N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, labelling it an unholy nexus. He predicted that in the upcoming elections, the people would reject this alliance, and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would secure victory.

This isn’t the first time the minister has danced during Sankranti celebrations. Last year, a similar video of his dance went viral, drawing attention on social media. Pawan Kalyan, who previously criticised Rambabu’s dance, featured a character imitating the minister’s moves in his film Bro. In response, Rambabu accused Pawan Kalyan of intentionally belittling him and even threatened to make films about the actor’s personal life.

As the Sankranti dance video circulated, a thirty-year-old photo of Minister Rambabu surfaced online, sparking curiosity about his potential involvement in movies. While details about the movie remain undisclosed, speculation arises about the minister’s past participation in films and serials.

In the face of criticism and political rivalry, Minister Ambati Rambabu remains undaunted, continuing to share moments of joy and celebration with the public.
